Calphalon nonstick bakeware is a hard anodized aluminum bake ware with a nonstick coating. If you are trying to find a less expensive type that will do just about as good as the better brands then Calphalon may be what you are looking for. Plus it is also lighter in weight than most All Clad varieties or brands. You'll probably have to work harder to keep the cookware clean because most of this brands nonstick cookware is not safe in the dishwasher. Another positive aspect to this type of cookware is that you can put it in your oven in temperatures up to about 400 degrees F.

It is not recommended for the dishwasher, and comes with a life long warranty. You don't see that sort of product support these days.
